Naperville Gymnastics Club (NGC) is dedicated to the safe development of gymnastics for children of all ages. Using an age group developmental program, we strive to develop strength, flexibility, motor skills and confidence within a physically challenging and rewarding class atmosphere. Class structure is based on a rotation system, not "obstacle course" or "playtime". Your child will receive lasting benefits by enrolling in this program whether she/he becomes an advanced gymnast or uses the acquired skills in other sports related activities.
Our view of gymnastics is to create a fun and challenging class in a competitive environment. Not only is emphasis placed on learning skills and how to compete at various levels, the important student/coach relationship is strived for in a positive light. More importantly, students learn team camaraderie while developing personal friendships, a feeling of personal accomplishment through a healthy attitude and long-term benefits of staying in top physical condition. NGC believes in challenging each gymnast not to perfection, but to a feeling of self accomplishment through goal setting, structure and progression. Advancement is not based on scores but the accomplishment of skills and requirements set by each level.
